Health Reach Foundation
Through its bipartite agreement with Health Reach Foundation, BGCF carries out the establishment and commissioning of modern Sanitary Facilities in heavily deprived rural communities across various regions of Ghana.  The partnership is solidly grounded in the need to promote nationwide health education and access to improved water, sanitation and other health related issues to children, girls and women and guided by the philosophy of equal access to health care to all in Ghana.

We establish a working partnership with other grassroots organizations pursuing some of our interests. Some identifiable partners in this drive are, 

Institute for Research and Civic Engagements – IFRACE.
(Grassroots Africa Volunteers)
The Institute for Research and Civic Engagements is a youth led center for social education, policy advocacy and research think-talk. It is also an eco-tourism social enterprise. Basically, IFRACE propagates public interest research and activism in African community’s development. IFRACE is works towards inspiring youth synergy, training, research, policy influence, civic engagements, skills development and literacy with emphasis on intercultural learning, international teamwork, entrepreneurship and community participation.

The Grassroots Africa Volunteers is an IFRACE trending project working to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals SDG by 2030, with projects as child education drive, youth development work, women empowerment initiatives. Running the below activities to achieve the above, teach and support children with learning activities, engage children in extracurricular activities such as art, games etc, young people in livestock farming, women in various agricultural initiatives such as shear butter production, and environment/climate advocacy and greening initiatives

Recnowa Initiative (Recycled Not A Waste)
Recnowa Initiative- Recnowa Initiative rescues plastic waste creating environmental nuisance, add value to it to come out with high quality usable products. Recnowa works with the physically challenged by providing opportunities to lift them out of poverty through sustainable livelihood job skills and fair trading. Artisans with disabilities are trained to produce goods suited to their capabilities.

Recnowa Initiative then helps them to increase their incomes by tapping into more lucrative markets outside their local communities. To do this, the program offers professional designs with broad-based consumer appeal, business skills training, and access to new marketing and distribution channels. Bright Generation Community Foundation offers diverse support to empower Recnowa in achieving its objectives.

• The Recnowa Initiative have created direct employment opportunities for 30 and 100 indirectly with the knock on effect of about 650 people benefiting directly.

• Remove 144 street children from the streets of Kumasi and linking them with appropriate saving schemes, health insurance schemes and basic accommodation.

• 370 girls (aged 16-25) have been trained in employable skills and human rights issues to make them productive and responsible individuals.

• Over twenty million plastic sachets and other material waste removed from the waste stream and up cycled into useful day to day products.

- Generations for Peace (Sports for Peace and Development Initiative)

Generations For Peace is a leading global non-profit peace-building organization founded by HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein and Sarah Kabbani in 2007.

Dedicated to sustainable conflict transformation at the grassroots, Generations For Peace empowers volunteer leaders of youth to promote active tolerance and responsible citizenship in communities experiencing different forms of conflict and violence.

Carefully-facilitated sport-based games, art, advocacy, dialogue and empowerment activities provide an entry point to engage children, youth and adults, and a vehicle for integrated education and sustained behavioral change.

About us

We understand that poverty is not just the lack of food and shelter, but also the loss of one’s dignity and identity. We came together to establish a non-governmental organization to help fight poverty by harnessing the enormous potential, energy and creativity of  children, youth and women in Ghana.
